M/S Haroon Abdul Sattar (HAS) was established in 1962 by Haroon Abdul Sattar as an importer of exotic spices and commodities. The company initially specialized in importing cloves, cardamom, betel nuts, cashew nuts, and cassia to cater to the local market in Pakistan. The company name was derived from the reputation of its founder, who was actively involved in the commodity trade before formally establishing the business.
